Dear Parents/Guardians, 

Each summer Big Lake Schools in partnership with the State of Minnesota, provide free meals to children who are under 19 years old. These meals are available to any and all families - you do not need to qualify for these or have a financial need for them. 

This summer, the meal program will be located at Independence Elementary beginning Tuesday, June 7 through Thursday, August 19, with the exception of July 5. Meals will be available for community members to pick up Monday to Thursday from 7:30-8:30 am and 10:00-12:00 pm. Breakfasts and lunches may be bundled together, and we’ll also be offering 5 day bundled meals.
