The Minnesota Department of Education has released the class of 2021’s graduation rate data. The statewide graduation rate fell to 83.3%, which is a 0.5% decrease compared to the four-year graduation rate of 2020. At Big Lake Schools, the 2021 graduation rate increased to 95.3% from 90.3% in 2020.
“Our district has made tremendous progress supporting and improving education services for all students,” says Superintendent Tim Truebenbach. “The hard work and dedication of our staff and students throughout the pandemic shows with the exceptional improvements in our graduation data.”
