The Application for Educational Benefits takes just a few minutes, and it may unlock valuable support for your family all year long.

  • Reduced fees for college exams, the AP test, and classes
  • Discounts on bus transportation (for those who need to pay for busing)
  • Discounts for activities and other after-school and summer community education programming

Your application will help provide your school with essential funding, which will help to keep classes low and support educational and student support programs.

Not sure if you qualify? We encourage all families submit an application, even if you don’t think you are eligible. Many families who doubt their eligibility end up qualifying!

You must resubmit the application annually. An updated form is made available each July for the upcoming school year.

Two Easy Ways to Apply

1. Apply online via Infinite Campus (preferred method)

  1. Log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
  2. Click on "More" and then "Meal Benefits"
  3. Follow the link to the application.

2. Submit a paper application

Print out and complete the application for educational benefits form and return it to the Big Lake Schools District Office (Attn: Applications, 701 Minnesota Ave E, Big Lake, MN 55309)

Confidentiality Waiver

Once qualified, in order to see what fee reductions may be available to you, submit the confidentiality waiver to choose the programs that you would like us to share the information with. Details given on your application won't be shared with other programs without your permission. This includes Little Learners preschool, transportation, district staff (for testing fees), athletics, and community education.
