The parties met for approximately 1.5 hours on Monday, July 8, 2024 to begin negotiations on the 2024-2026 Secretarial, Paraeducators, and Custodial master agreement. The District presented initial language changes. The Union presented its initial proposal, including a financial package totaling 48.7% over the two year agreement (does not include costing for the time and half for short staffing pay).

The parties met for approximately 1.5 hours on Friday, August 16, 2024 to continue negotiations on the 2024-2026 Secretarial, Paraeducators, and Custodial master agreement. The District responded to the language items presented by the union on July 8 and then shared the initial financial proposal, which totaled 8.11% over two years.

The parties met for approximately 1 hour on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 to continue negotiations on the 2024-2026 Secretarial, Paraeducators, and Custodial master agreement. The Union presented responses to language and an updated financial proposal, which totaled 44.77% over two years (does not include costing for the time and half for short staffing pay).

The District provided updated proposals on language items presented by the union previously and shared an updated financial proposal, which totaled 8.47% over two years.

The parties met for approximately 1 hour on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 to continue negotiations on the 2024-2026 Secretarial, Paraeducators, and Custodial master agreement.  The Union provided updated proposals on language items presented by the union previously and shared an updated financial proposal, which totaled 33.96% over two years.

The parties met for approximately 1 hour on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 to continue negotiations on the 2024-2026 Secretarial, Paraeducators, and Custodial master agreement.  The District provided updated proposals on language items presented by the Union previously and shared an updated financial proposal that matched the salary schedule presented by the Union on October 2, which totaled 10.03% over two years.  Regarding updated statute language items, the District is committed to following all statutes.  Rather than memorializing the statute language (that is subject to change)  in contract, the District has included a statute reference in their proposals to the Union.  The Union decided to file a petition for mediation.
