Graham named head girls soccer coach

BIG LAKE, Minn. – May 15, 2024 – Activities Director Jared Matson is pleased to announce that Alissa Graham has been named the next head girls’ soccer coach for the Hornets, pending board approval.

Graham was an assistant coach on the girls’ soccer staff last season and served as the head coach for the junior varsity team. She has a strong background in soccer with experience playing at the high school and collegiate level. 

“Alissa did a fantastic job with our JV team last season and invested time in building quality relationships with the girls that she coached,” Big Lake Activities Director Jared Matson commented. “She displays great energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to grow professionally.”

“I am excited for my new coaching position with the Big Lake Hornets Girls Soccer program.  I look forward to having another successful season with the girls," Coach Graham said.

There will be a team meeting for athletes to meet with Coach Graham on May 24th at 3:30pm in the high school collaborative center. Returning participants and new prospective athletes are all welcome to attend.
