• The Wave Youth Center The Wave is located in Big Lake Minnesota and provides support in the form of mentors in the areas of academic, life, social and vocational skills. Check out their page to see when they are open, and what activities they have available.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters BBBS was created in an effort to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Contact them if your child is wanting a mentor, OR if you would like to be a mentor. High School students as well as adults can be mentors.

iEmpower The iEmpower Youth Program works with youth in grades K-12 to foster skills that empower them to become tomorrow’s leaders. These youth develop communication skills, leadership skills, self-confidence, and self-reliance skills. Big Lake School District is fortunate to have United Way sponsor this program in our schools, making it free to those in attendance. You may contact the school directly to find out when the next iEmpower program will start.
