Technology is everywhere today and is viewed as a vital component to learning in the 21st Century. While Big Lake Schools understands the important role technology plays in helping students learn, we also see a vital role in teaching students how to use technology safely and responsibly.
Throughout your student's academic career with us, he or she will learn about digital literacy and cyber safety. The conversation can't stop there though. Digital literacy and cyber safety are important conversations that parents need to have with children as well. Additionally, as outlined in our Technology Acceptable Use and Safety Policy, parents are responsible for the guidance and monitoring of their student's use of technology outside of school hours.
